It was 1978, and there wasn't a lot to celebrate. After all, 1978 is when Cleveland went bankrupt.
But there were a few positive signs. 1978 is also when Pope John Paul II began what would be a 29 year papacy.
And best of all, the prelude to OryCon, "OryCon 0" was held Nov. 11 1978.
